In 2024, I contributed to the development of the poster IRRT Poster Committee: Celebrating IRRT’s 75th Anniversary, presented at the ALA Annual Conference in San Diego, California.
The poster highlighted the work of the International Relations Round Table (IRRT) Poster Session Committee, of which I am still a member, and provided an overview of its role, activities, and history. The committee helps organize ALA's International Poster Session, including promoting the call for proposals and reviewing and evaluating international submissions each year.
The poster also looked back at the history of the International Poster Session since its establishment in 1998, highlighting its role as a space for library professionals from different countries to share projects, experiences, and best practices.
My involvement in this committee is closely connected to my interest in international librarianship. It gives me the opportunity to collaborate with librarians from different institutions and countries, learn about international projects, and help create opportunities for professional exchange within ALA.
