In the article, I reflect on my experience attending the Guadalajara International Book Fair through the ALA–FIL Free Pass Program. I discuss how participating in the program helped me expand my professional experience beyond cataloging and metadata, particularly in collection development, acquisitions, and international librarianship.

I was glad to have the opportunity to share this experience with the international library community through International Leads!
